Our Field Based Business Developers are responsible for meeting with tradespeople in the area face to face to develop long-lasting relationships while selling the benefits of having a Howdens account.
Role
Our Field Based Business Developers are vital for our business to grow. You will build strong relationships with existing and potential new account holders, work to gain new accounts, and help ensure the account base across depots grows while giving new customers a full understanding of the Howdens model and benefits.
You will collaborate with the Business Developers and Designers to convert sales, ensuring higher sales per account and more frequent trading. You will participate in sales meetings chaired by the Lead Field Based Business Developer to share best demonstrable practice with other Field Based Business Developers in the area.
Our Field Based Business Developers have a lot of autonomy within the role. You will seek new business opportunities in the territory and organise your own diary to develop the customer base in each depot.
What We Need From You

* You must have proven influencing and sales skills.
* Must be customer focused and commercially astute.
* You will be results driven.
* Able to plan and organise your own workload.
* Be flexible and approachable.
* Be an ambassador for Howdens.
* Must hold a driving licence (a Company vehicle will be provided for you to carry out this role).
