We’re now looking for our first Product Design Sourcer who wants to move beyond transactional sourcing and become a true strategic partner to founders and hiring teams.
About the Role
We’re looking for a highly skilled Product Design Sourcer to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll focus on identifying, engaging, and building pipelines of exceptional Product Design talent (Product Designers, UX/UI Designers, Design Leads, etc.) for some of the most promising startups.
You’ll work closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and founders, playing a critical role in shaping early design teams and setting a high bar for talent.
Responsibilities
* Own the sourcing strategy for Product Design roles across multiple startups
* Proactively identify and engage top Product Design talent using LinkedIn Recruiter, portfolios (Figma, Dribbble, Behance), referrals, and creative sourcing methods
* Conduct initial outreach and qualification conversations to assess experience, design quality, and motivation
* Partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to deeply understand role requirements and team needs
* Build and maintain strong, long-term pipelines of Product Design talent
* Advise on market trends, candidate expectations, and competitive landscapes within Product Design
* Ensure an excellent candidate experience from first touchpoint onward
* Track sourcing activity and pipeline health to continuously improve results
* Represent Heart Mind Talent and our clients professionally in all candidate interactions
Qualifications
* 4+ years of experience in Product Design sourcing or recruiting, ideally in startup or fast-paced environments
* Strong understanding of Product Design roles, skill sets, and career paths
* Hands-on experience sourcing through LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, portfolios, and ATS tools
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
* Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple searches
* Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with a distributed team
