From advertising roles and arranging interviews to onboarding and beyond, you'll ensure every candidate and colleague experiences a smooth, friendly, and professional journey. Beyond recruitment, you will support the wider HR function, helping maintain policies, procedures, and employee records to ensure a positive and compliant workplace experience for everyone. Your focus on compliance, organisation, and people-first thinking will ensure we meet safer recruitment best practices while fostering an inclusive, supportive, and engaging environment for all employees A day of play Recruitment & Onboarding Create and post engaging job adverts to attract the best talent. Manage applications, arrange interviews, and support hiring managers throughout the recruitment process. Provide a warm welcome and helpful onboarding experience for all new starters. Communicate regularly with hiring managers on recruitment progress and onboarding status, keeping trackers up to date with references, DBS checks, and training completions. Assist new team members with uniforms and create and send ID badges. Track and follow up on documents, references, and DBS information to ensure 100% compliance with safer recruitment guidelines in line with government, KCSIE, and Ofsted requirements. Prepare contracts, offer letters, and HR documentation. Set up new employees on our HR, training, and scheduling platforms with the correct access. HR Administration & Compliance Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in line with data protection legislation. Support HR reporting, including headcount, compliance, absence, and training records. Assist in maintaining HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks, ensuring all team members are informed and up to date. Respond to general employee queries, offering guidance and signposting to relevant HR resources. Support performance management processes, probation reviews, and internal transfers. Assist with employee engagement initiatives, wellbeing programs, and recognition activities. For your new adventure You love people - it's part of who you are.
