As Hotel Sales Executive, your role will be to carry out projects and generate leads resulting in revenue growth within the business and support the delivery of the commercial strategy. Identifying new leads and contacts, working with the front of house teams in driving engagement. You will conduct sales lead calls to potential new accounts and clients and ensure all sales databases are kept accurate and up to date. Performing general office duties and administrative tasks where needed which include weekly and monthly reports.


Responsibilities and Key Activities

* Support the commercial team by identifying and pursuing new business leads, including conducting market research and making outbound sales calls.
* Be involved in producing and sending out group and local corporate proposals, chasing and seeing them through to a conclusion.
* Work closely with the Front Desk team to convert leads and maximize sales opportunities.
* Assist in creating and managing social media content, including reels and promotional posts, to increase engagement and brand visibility.
* Share ideas for email marketing with the Aimbridge central marketing team.
* Represent the hotel at networking events, trade shows, and exhibitions at ExCeL to generate new business and strengthen client relationships.


Required Skills / Qualifications

* Communication Skills: As the face of our hotel, you’ll need excellent communication skills to interact with clients, vendors, and hotel staff. You should be able to communicate effectively in writing and verbally and have strong interpersonal skills.
* Organisational Skills: Strong organisational skills are essential. You’ll need to manage multiple tasks, prioritise responsibilities, and work effectively under pressure. Attention to detail, budget and schedule management are required.
* Customer Service Skills: You’ll work with guests first hand so you need excellent customer service skills to ensure a positive experience. Anticipate client needs, provide excellent service, and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
* Flexibility: Handle unexpected changes or last‑minute requests. Think on your feet and quickly find solutions to any issues that arise.

The hotel is about 10 minutes’ walk from ExCeL London, an international convention centre in the Docklands, and a 20‑minute ride on the Docklands Light Railway from London City Airport. It is about 25 minutes from Canary Wharf and half an hour from the Tower of London.
