We are currently seeking a Human Resources Manager for a period of 9 months starting ideally in July.
Based at our Redditch UK head office you will provide generalist, first line support and assistance to line managers and their employees. In addition to providing day to day advice and guidance to enable both employees and the organisation to function more effectively, it is important to ensure Swisslog are acting fairly and within legal constraints.
Your Tasks
* Provide 1st line support for Line Managers, staff and external contacts and to regularly meet Line Managers to discuss issues and support as an when required
* To manage the relationship between third party suppliers ensuring that all schemes are administered correctly including healthcare, pensions, insurances and all of other benefits
* Support managers in the recruitment of their staff advising on the most appropriate recruitment methods, manage the relationship with agencies, web based recruitment providers and attending interviews, where appropriate
* Oversee the production of documentation for starters, including contract of employment, confidentiality agreement, etc.Process new starter agreements, leavers forms, maintain database, SAP, personnel files etc.
* Administer, provide advice and support Line Managers in relation to grievance and disciplinary hearings and all employee relations matters.
* Maintain effective records and documentation for Human Resources and improve and provide processes where required, ensuring that all forms reflect current business practice and are up to date
* Ensure that all performance and development reviews are conducted and advice is given to Line Managers when required highlighting any issues to the Regional HR Business Partner.
* Compile training plans for Line Managers and update them on a quarterly basis.
* To keep appraised of changes to new working practices and changes in legislation and ensure where appropriate managers are briefed of these changes.Assist with updating policies and procedures as required.
* Liaise with Trade Unions where appropriate
* Attend regional/global HR meetings when required
Your Profile
* Experienced HR Manager or HR Business Partner
* Ideally experience of a similar industry such as manufacturing, logistics or engineering
* Excellent communication skills and professional approach
* CIPD qualified
* Able to commit to complete a 9 month contract
