We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior / Lead Developer with strong expertise in .NET (C#) and SQL, alongside a solid understanding of IT infrastructure. As a senior member of the team, you will lead in designing and delivering impactful digital solutions, mentoring junior developers, and shaping the long-term technology strategy. Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure applications using .NET (C#) and SQL Server.
* Lead technical design sessions and provide architectural input on new initiatives.
* Build and support infrastructure components within the application lifecycle (e.g. deployment pipelines, cloud infrastructure, monitoring).
* Ensure adherence to best practices in coding, security, testing, and documentation.
* Mentor and support junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
* Contribute to defining and refining the department's development processes and tooling.
* Participate in strategic planning and provide insights into technology roadmaps.
Requirements
Essential Skills:
* Strong experience with .NET Framework / .NET Core, C#, and related technologies.
* Solid SQL knowledge and database design skills.
* Good understanding of infrastructure fundamentals (e.g. networking, servers, cloud services—ideally Azure).
* Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
* Proven ability to take ownership of projects and lead from a technical perspective.
* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Desirable Skills:
* Experience with containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes).
* Familiarity with front-end technologies.
* Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
* Experience working within Agile / Scrum environments.
