Job Overview

Full‑time substantive role available. 7‑day rotating roster including bank holidays, maximum 21% unsocial hours.

Location: Crawley West EOC.


Main Duties

* Audit Emergency Medical Advisors (EMAs), Senior EMAs, EMA Coaches and EMA Team Leaders; document results, provide developmental feedback, and record outcomes.
* Act as subject‑matter expert in NHS Pathways system and telephone triage principles; support EOC leaders with development action plans within performance management processes.
* Handle EOC calls, demonstrating expert knowledge of call‑handling procedure, CAD system, NHS Pathways and telephone triage.
* Undertake call‑handling duties on a one in six basis to maintain clinical skill; provide real‑time advice and support to junior colleagues.

Additional Information

Salary range aligns with Agenda for Change (AFC) pay scales and you will be placed at the bottom of the band unless relevant NHS or equivalent experience can be demonstrated.

Following the National Vaccination Policy, patients‑facing staff are strongly encouraged to be vaccinated unless medically exempt.

All positions require a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check (basic, standard, or enhanced depending on role). The level of check will be outlined in the conditional offer letter.

You will be asked to declare any unspent/unfiltered convictions. If shortlisted, a self‑declaration form will be sent prior to the interview.
