We’re seeking a Back End Team Leader to lead the delivery and evolution of our back-office systems, driving continuous improvements and ensuring that our platforms are high-performing, secure, and future-ready.

Key Responsibilities
* Taking prototypes from design stage through to build stage, collaborating with our key stakeholders to deliver the best experience for our clients
* Create new reusable components
* Work alongside our Front-End team to deliver new features, or improve existing ones
* Collaborate with the QA team to ensure quality deliverables
* Working with our Client Services team to provide technical analysis, support and fixes
* Support the Back-End Team Lead to guide and support the Back-End team
Required Skills and Experience
* Strong hands‑on coding skills in modern frameworks and languages (e.g., PHP, Go, Symphony, Laravel)
* Solid understanding of databases
* Experience with Service Orientated Architecture
* Using CI/CD tooling to deploy code
* Testing frameworks and methodologies (TDD, BDD)
* Knowledge of version control systems (Git)
* Familiarity with reporting systems, ETL workloads, and system configuration tools.
* Understanding of software design patterns
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
