This company has appointed Hays exclusively to recruit an HR Manager for their organization. This is a stand-alone role that offers a competitive salary & benefits package along with hybrid working.
Your new role
As HR Manager, you will report directly to the senior management team and be responsible for the HR function within the business. You will be the first point of contact for all staff regarding HR inquiries. You will support management on the implementation of company policies and procedures, including employee relations such as disciplinaries, grievances, absence management, and ensuring best practices. Your key responsibilities will include recruitment and selection at all levels, onboarding and off-boarding staff, monitoring records for EQ FEC returns, maintaining the company’s Time Management System and Staff Intranet, collating payroll reports, taking minutes, updating HR records, organizing and chairing/attending managers' meetings, and providing updates. All HR administration duties.
What you'll need to succeed
A degree in Human Resources or a related discipline (or equivalent) and previous experience as a HR Officer/Manager in a generalist role. You should demonstrate thorough knowledge of HR practices, current employment legislation, high commitment, discretion, self-motivation, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and make decisions. Qualification to or working towards level 5 CIPD or equivalent is desirable.
