Position Title: Construction Site Manager
Location: Twickenham, London
Employment Type: Permanent
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 p/a
Job Overview:
Are you an adept Construction Site Manager seeking a dynamic role that challenges your expertise and leadership skills? Randstad are searching for an experienced Site Manager to join our client who is a leader in the water industry. You'll play a pivotal role in overseeing construction projects while ensuring compliance with safety standards, quality processes and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Utilise your extensive knowledge of construction management best practices, with a focus on Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control, and Automation (MEICA) assets
2. Apply relevant safety qualifications such as IOSH Managing Safely to maintain a secure work environment and uphold regulatory requirements
3. Demonstrate proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and project management methodologies to efficiently manage project schedules, resources, and communication channels
4. Exercise operational and commercial awareness within the utilities sector, ensuring alignment with industry standards and contractual obligations, including familiarity with the IChemE Burgundy Book Form of Contract
5. Collaborate with site teams, promoting strong leadership to enhance collaboration, safety, and quality standards, while monitoring project progress against P6 programme
6. Possess CSCS/EUSR and SMSTS certifications, along with a keen understanding of Water Industry specifications
7. Foster excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage subcontractors and direct labour, maintaining attention to detail and a proactive approach to project execution
8. Take the lead in client interfaces, managing project delivery on both technical and business aspects of team outputs
Desired Qualifications:
In addition to the above, the following qualifications and experiences are preferable:
9. First Aid certification and a valid UK driving license
10. Understanding of Primavera P6 and Temporary Works Co-Ordinator Training
11. Hold valid CSCS, SMSTS and EUSR cards
12. TWUL Safety Passport and Capital Onboarding certifications
