We’re looking for a Yard Labourer to support day-to-day operations at a busy electrical equipment depot. This is a great entry-level role for someone early in their career who enjoys hands-on work and wants to develop technical skills within the power generation industry.
What You’ll Do
* Assist with the maintenance, cleaning and preparation of diesel generators and rental equipment
* Help load and unload equipment in the yard
* Support basic repairs and servicing tasks
* Collect generator readings (hours and fuel levels) from returned equipment
* Drive forklifts (training provided)
* Occasionally deliver or collect parts using company vehicles
* Maintain a clean, safe working environment and follow all Health & Safety procedures
What You’ll Need
* Full UK driving licence
* Forklift licence (or willingness to train)
* Experience in a workshop, yard, or hands-on environment (desirable)
* CSCS card preferred
* A positive, flexible attitude and willingness to learn
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
