Quality Manager
Location: Andover (5 days onsite)
Contract: Permanent
In conjunction with the Senior Technical Manager and other departmental managers to ensure the BRCgs AA+ status of the site and the implementation and sustainability of the Pilgrim's Quality Pillar.
Responsibilities:
Core Responsibilities
* To maintain the site BRCGS AA+ status
* To deploy the technical department resource to maximum effect.
* To ensure that all our products meet or exceed specification and to communicate effectively when they do not!
* To energise and motivate the quality team to deliver the above.
* To be a key member of the site management team delivering a profitable and successful business performance.
* To ensure that our site is always clean and presentable.
* To ensure the smooth implementation of new lines and products.
Hygiene
* To work with the hygiene team to deliver an audit-ready-every-day production environment.
Internal Auditing
* To be an active internal auditor.
Non-conformances, Complaints And Out-of-spec Results
1. To champion the “5 why” process within the Technical team driving down to root cause.
