About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and drivenSite Manager to assist in the delivery of a social housing scheme focused on the construction ofsustainable homes, with a strong understanding of reactive maintenance operations. You will play a key role in ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and to high quality standards, in line with both client expectations and environmental targets.

Key Responsibilities
1. Manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations
2. Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and direct labour on-site
3. Oversee the construction of sustainable housing units from groundworks to handover
4. Implement and monitor reactive maintenance solutions for existing properties
5. Ensure project milestones are met within budget and time constraints
6. Liaise with stakeholders including clients, residents, consultants, and the wider project team
7. Maintain site documentation and reporting
8. Champion environmental and sustainable best practices on site
Requirements
9. Proven experience as a Site Manager within social housing construction
10. Strong knowledge of sustainable construction methods, including low-carbon technologies and energy efficiency standards
11. Experience managing reactive maintenance within residential schemes
12. SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certified
13. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
14. Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and trades on a busy site
15. IT-literate with experience in site reporting tools (e.g. Fieldview, Procore, etc.)
Desirable
16. Background in retrofit projects or Passivhaus-standard builds
17. Knowledge of local authority housing standards and compliance
