VF Corporation, a global fashion and retail company, is looking for a new HR Officer to join our People Services team at the UK Distribution Centre in Bardon, Leicestershire.

Role Overview
As an HR Officer within the People Services team, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth delivery of day‑to‑day HR operations across the business. You will collaborate with HR Generalists, HR Business Partners, Payroll, and key stakeholders to deliver a consistent, high‑quality people experience. While based at a specific site, the role supports distribution centre, office‑based, and retail teams across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities
* Work collaboratively as part of the People Services team, sharing responsibility for workloads and supporting VF colleagues across the DC, office‑based, and retail environments as required.
* Handle day‑to‑day associate and manager queries, in person or via the Workday case management tool, concerning contracts, benefits, people policies, and general HR questions, in line with agreed SLAs.
* Manage employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding new starters, processing contractual changes, and supporting offboarding leavers for all departments.
* Assist with the coordination and administration of Occupational Health referrals and assessments.
* Handle employee data and HR records accurately and confidentially, in line with GDPR requirements and VF data protection standards.
* Complete ad‑hoc and routine HR tasks to support the effective day‑to‑day running of the People Services function and ensure consistent service delivery across the business.
* When required support time and attendance activities using Protime, including daily system checks, granting rights of use, processing changes to work schedules, and reporting accurate information to Payroll (full system training provided).
Skills & Ways of Working
You should be someone who can demonstrate the following skills and ways of working:
* Act as a confident system user, working with tools such as Workday, Protime, Smartsheet, and Microsoft Office to manage workflows, trackers, and data accurately and efficiently.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships.
* Experience working in a similar HR administrative or operational support role.
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively; hands‑on, proactive, and comfortable working with autonomy.
* CIPD Level 3 or 5 qualification (desirable).
* Experience working within a large, global organisation, where governance, process, and consistency are key (advantageous).
