CBW Staffing Solutions are looking for an experienced Cook to join a busy, high-profile catering operation based on a large industrial/engineering site in Washington.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a professional kitchen environment and wants a great work life balance with no evenings or weekends.
Package:
* Competitive hourly rate of up to £15.40
* Core hours are Monday - Friday (40 hours per week)
* No late nights, weekends, or split shifts

Responsibilities:
* Prepare and cook hot and cold meals to a high standard
* Support menu planning and daily service delivery
* Maintain excellent food hygiene and kitchen safety practices
* Work efficiently to meet lunchtime service demands
* Assist with stock control, ordering and waste management
* Ensure all catering activities comply with site and food safety requirements
Requirements:
* Previous chef/cook experience in contract catering, volume catering, or similar
* Strong understanding of food hygiene standards (Level 2/3 Food Safety ideal)
* Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
* Reliable, organised, and proactive attitude
* Ability to work within a secure, process-driven environment
