About the role
Nutrition is a key part of providing excellent care to our service users. As a Cook, you will ensure dietary and cultural requirements are met, serving meals that promote wellbeing.
Responsibilities
* Prepare nutritious meals in line with dietary guidelines and requirements
* Maintain daily cleanliness and maintenance of the kitchen and equipment
* Manage inventory of kitchen supplies and produce
* Apply knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations
* Engage with service users to reflect their food preferences
* Hold a Food Hygiene Level 2 certification
* Have previous experience in food preparation within a commercial, domestic, hospital, or care setting
* Display a warm, approachable personality to connect with service users and vulnerable adults
