What You\'ll Do
As a Teaching Assistant, you\'ll play a key role in supporting young people to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. You\'ll help create a safe, positive environment where they can learn, progress, and develop vital life skills.
Your role may include:
* Supporting learners 1:1 or within small groups
* Encouraging independence and building confidence
* Helping to deliver lessons and learning activities
* Keeping accurate records of progress
* Promoting positive behaviour and emotional regulation
* Ensuring safeguarding and safety at all times
* Being a calm, reliable and trusted adult for young people who need it most
You\'ll be fully supported with training and mentoring - all you need to bring is the right attitude and commitment.
We\'re Looking For Someone Who Is:
* Positive, patient, and supportive
* Able to build genuine, professional relationships
* Creative in finding ways to meet different needs
* Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
* Confident with basic literacy, numeracy, and ICT
* A driver with access to a car
* 21 or over (regulatory requirement)
