Site Manager – Groundworks Package | Immediate Start Milton Keynes (with follow-up projects in Cambridge & Hertfordshire) Freelance | Competitive Rates/Salary Start: Immediate We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a groundworks package on a busy construction project in Milton Keynes, with upcoming follow-on projects in Cambridge and Hertfordshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven individual looking to take ownership of multiple sites within a reputable and growing construction firm. Key Responsibilities: * Oversee all on-site groundworks operations, ensuring safe and efficient progress * Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and the wider project team to meet programme targets * Maintain high standards of site health & safety and quality control * Ensure all paperwork, daily records, RAMS, permits, and site diaries are completed accurately and on time * Report regularly to the Project Manager with updates on progress, issues, and logistics Requirements: * Proven experience managing groundworks packages on residential or commercial builds * Strong with site paperwork and administration * Excellent communication and leadership skills * Gold or Black CSCS Card (Essential) * SMSTS and First Aid qualifications (Preferred) * Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between project sites What We Offer: * Immediate start with long-term pipeline of work across multiple sites * Competitive day rate or salary * Supportive, well-structured team environment * Opportunity for progression with repeat work To Apply: Please send your CV by applying below and we will be in touch with further info
