Fitness Instructor, Windsor Leisure Centre
Salary: Depends on experience

We are currently recruiting for a driven Fitness Instructors to join our health and fitness team at our Windsor Leisure Centre.
Primary Objectives For The Fitness Instructor Will Be
* To ensure the safety and enjoyment of everybody using the health and fitness facilities.
* To deliver inductions/ group sessions/ gym based classes and programmes for all users
* To promote excellence of customer service and motivate people to enjoy exercise through good communications and selling skills.
* To take responsibility for all aspects of the daily operation of the health and fitness facilities.
* To drive Brand Standards in the centre and keep the fitness areas in particular spotlessly clean at all times.
* To undertake basic maintenance work as required, along with relevant safety checks.
* To make sure all equipment and facilities are safe and secure when not in use.
* To undertake any reasonable request to assist with the daily operations of the Centre.
* To be aware of all Health and Safety issues within the Centre, and specifically the fitness and health facility, and to constantly implement and assess procedures, drawing attention to unsafe practices.
* To guide, care for and assist all fitness users especially in areas of motivation, well-being, nutrition, and fitness testing.
The Person
* You must be flexible, reliable, and enjoy working as part of a team.
* You will possess the REPS level 2 or equivalent qualification and be willing to work variable hours, including some early mornings, evenings and weekends; as per the rota. .
* Must be able to gain acceptance and respect from clients and the teams involved.
* Must be able to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
* Must be able to communicate at different levels of the organisation, both listen and direct.
Dbs
The position of Fitness Instructor is classed as a regulated post and therefore requires a DBS Disclosure. Where the individual does not already hold a DBS Disclosure, it will be necessary for the post holder to be submitted for a DBS check.
