I am seeking an experienced Employment Lawyer to join a local authority legal team in London. The role involves advising and representing on various employment law matters in a temporary capacity.

Description
Provide expert legal advice on employment law matters to stakeholders.
Draft and review employment contracts, policies, and procedures.
Represent the organisation in employment tribunals and hearings.
Working knowledge of TUPE.
Conduct legal research to support cases and decision-making.
Manage a caseload of employment law matters efficiently.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with employment legislation.
Assist in resolving workplace disputes and grievances.Profile
A successful Employment Lawyer will have:
A recognised professional qualification (Barrister, Solicitor or Legal Executive).
Strong working knowledge of TUPE and proven experience managing an Employment Tribunal caseload.
Local authority experience (advantageous but not essential).
Experience within a large, regulated organisation (desirable).
The ability to manage a varied caseload effectively.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Strong legal research and drafting skills.
