Job Description The Site Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of a construction site, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. The Site Manager will coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and site workers, while maintaining strict adherence to safety regulations and quality standards. You will be detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality, proactive and able to work independently. You will have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure. This role involves travelling and managing construction sites, which may include exposure to various weather conditions and travelling. We are looking for the successful candidate to live in or around the Midlands area Job Requirements Essential: Experience as a site supervisor or similar role within the construction industry. Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent organisational and time management abilities. Proficient in project management software and MS Office Suite. Knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations. SMSTS Valid UK Driving Licence EUSR SHEA POWER or valid CSCS card Desirable: Qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field UKPIA – Experience in working within a petrol forecourt environment. Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution. Schedule and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel. Implement and enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations. Conduct regular site inspections to identify and mitigate potential safety hazards. Provide safety training and toolbox talks to site personnel. Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of quality, according to project specifications and industry best practices. Conduct quality checks and inspections and address any issues promptly. Manage site resources efficiently, including labor, materials, and equipment. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate the timely procurement of materials and supplies. Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily logs, progress reports, and incident reports. Report project status to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting any issues or delays. Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on-site, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.
