Café Cook required for our rustic café working with all our departments to showcase local food with the focus on customer service and enjoyment.
Job Type
Permanent part time 1 day or 2 day role – 9 am to 5pm. Weekend working is an essential feature of this role.

Responsibilities and Duties
The Role
* Cooking Breakfasts, Lunches, Light bites, Cakes
* Cooking products for other departments
* Developing new menu items using our products
* Focus on food safety and hygiene
* Maintaining high levels of quality and cleanliness
* Food preparation and serving
* Delivering an outstanding customer experience
* Taking and processing customer orders
* Providing product information to customers
* Completing daily records
* Receiving and checking deliveries
* Stock rotation and quality checking
* Compliance with all relevant legislation
* Working in other departments as required
The Candidate
* Excellent customer service and a friendly personality
* Passionate about good food from local ingredients
* Experience of baking desirable
* Experience in catering and hospitality preferable
* Enthusiastic and flexible with a can do attitude
* Able to cope with the physical demands of the role
* Team player with good communication skills at all levels
* Able to work under pressure
* Honest, reliable and dedicated

Pay: £10.00-£12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 16 per week
