Title: Site Manager
Location: Stockton - On-Tees
Who are we recruiting for:
Our client is a world-class developer and EPC contractor who has successfully developed, engineered, constructed, and maintained more than 500 PV projects across three continents, with a total capacity of over 2GW. They have a full pipeline of new projects planned for the coming years. The company is expanding into new strategic markets such as Central and South East Asia, Sub-Saharan Africa, the USA, Latin America, and Australia.
What will you be doing:
* Oversee and manage all on-site activities, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
* Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and construction teams to meet project milestones.
* Monitor construction progress, resolve issues, and maintain quality control throughout all project stages.
* Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to design specifications and technical standards.
* Liaise with project stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and local authorities, to ensure clear communication and alignment.
* Manage site documentation, including progress reports, risk assessments, and method statements.
* Ensure efficient resource management, including labor, materials, and equipment.
Are you the ideal candidate?
* Proven experience as a Site Manager in the UK within solar farm or renewable energy construction projects.
* Strong knowledge of construction processes, health and safety regulations, and environmental compliance.
* Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide diverse teams.
* Proficient in project management software and reporting tools.
