Department Purpose
The Belfast Finance department serves the A&O Shearman network, covering management and financial accounting & reporting, revenue control (including eBilling), credit control, accounts payable, and tax. Key offices include London, Belfast, US, South Africa, Dubai, Israel, France, Luxembourg, Belgium, Netherlands, and Germany.
We prioritize client service, working to Service Level Agreements, targets, and deadlines to meet expectations.
What you will do
As a Senior Working Capital Assistant, you will ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions within Credit Control and Revenue functions, complying with Solicitors Accounting Regulations and regional laws.
You will support your Team Lead and Working Capital Specialist in revenue activities, cash collection, and adherence to best practices through accurate reporting and timely completion of tasks.
You will assist in continuous improvement initiatives and participate in ad hoc projects as needed.
You will also support month-end closing processes, including overtime as required.
