Responsibilities
* Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and weeding to ensure gardens and lawns are well-kept.
* Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various landscaping projects.
* Use mechanical knowledge to operate machinery such as excavators for digging and earth-moving tasks.
* Participate in construction projects, including building patios, walkways, and other outdoor structures.
* Support gardening efforts by planting flowers, shrubs, and trees while ensuring proper care is taken for their growth.
* Maintain cleanliness of work areas and tools after each job to promote safety and efficiency.
Skills
* Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques and practices.
* Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to landscaping tasks.
* Mechanical knowledge for operating machinery such as excavators effectively.
* Experience with irrigation systems is advantageous for maintaining healthy landscapes.
* Familiarity with horticulture principles to support plant health and growth.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
