Vacancy for Site Manager
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: 10 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.
Salary: Surrey Pay Grade PS5 (FTE between £26,777 and £28,686 pro-rata per annum)
Actual Salary: Between £8,606 and £9,302 depending on experience.
Windlesham Village Infant School is a popular thriving school with a friendly staff team and a positive work environment. Standards of achievement are high, our children are well-behaved and staff enjoy working at Windlesham Village Infants, with its calm and happy ethos. We are looking to appoint a part time Site Manager to ensure the smooth running of the facilities function of Windlesham Village Infants. The school has several buildings, playground and astro alongside a beautiful meadow, copse and stream. Knowledge of school facilities and compliance would be an advantage however full training will be given.
We are looking for someone who:
• Experience of working in school facilities and compliance with the ability to complete handyman tasks and regular cyclical checks
• An awareness of school Health & Safety procedures
• Ability to work on your own and take pride in your environment
• Attention to detail, use your initiative to address areas that need extra attention
• Ability to be flexible, working within an individual school and contributing to the whole Trust as required
• Energy, enthusiasm, patience and a great sense of humour
• Commitment to all elements of safeguarding, discretion and confidentiality
We can offer you a supportive, friendly and professional environment to work in. Full training for all elements f the role and Support from our central team, school business manager and other site managers from across the MAT.
We are looking to employ one person to work Monday – Friday 6.30am until 8.30am, This is for 10 hours per week over 52 weeks per year on a permanent contract.
