Role Description
This is an opportunity for an experienced Senior Developer to join the Data Technology team, supporting strategic platforms across international payments, liquidity, loans and trade. The role is focused on the ongoing maintenance and enhancement of a legacy international banking data warehouse, alongside support for project delivery and responses to audit and risk‑related requests.
The successful candidate will bring core expertise in the zVM NOMAD platform and will also have the opportunity to develop broader technical capability through exposure to additional technologies used within the team, including Informatica, Hadoop and Starburst.
The position sits within an established team based in Bromley and offers the opportunity to contribute specialist knowledge while building experience across a broader technology estate in a collaborative and delivery‑focused environment.
Responsibilities
* Analyse and profile international banking data in support of the relevant lines of business
* Design, develop and maintain system enhancements using NOMAD technology
* Execute testing activities to support the quality, stability and successful implementation of code changes
* Provide release support and production support for business‑critical live services
What we are looking for
* Significant experience of the NOMAD vendor product
* Demonstrable mainframe development experience, including hands‑on expertise with the zVM platform
* Experience working within banking or financial services environments
Skills that will help
* Experience of the UltraQuest vendor productBroader mainframe development experience, including exposure to the zOS platform
* Knowledge of treasury banking data domains, including payments
