We are currently recruiting a Business & Project Support Officer for our client who is an Essential Public Service Provider
1. 36.25 hours per week
2. Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm
3. £19.59 per hour
4. up to 6 months with possible with extension
Job duties for Business Support Activities will include:
5. The post holder will be an integral part of the Service Support Centre Team. Delivering at all times to a high standard, they will provide expert advice and guidance to management and wider client’s project teams on the development and delivery of Asset & Services projects
6. Deliver a structured approach to prioritising and planning of all Asset and Services projects to be delivered within each Financial Year and across multi-year cycles e.g. 5 years/10 years, working with key stakeholders and senior management to ensure alignment with the client’s Corporate and Financial Plans.
7. Deliver project research support and carry out the relevant background knowledge research and benchmarking required for future Assets and Services to be delivered.
8. Develop and agree individual Project Initiation Documents (PIDs) for project to be delivered within the Financial Year including a full project brief.

Essential Criteria:
9. Possess a degree or equivalent qualification* in a relevant discipline e.g. business management, improvement, business studies, finance AND
10. Have a minimum 2 years relevant experience of the development of business cases through their lifecycle, within or supporting a large organisation.
OR
11. Possess at least a HND or equivalent qualification* in a relevant discipline e.g. business management, improvement, business studies, finance AND
12. Have a minimum 3 years relevant experience of the development of business cases through their lifecycle, within or supporting a large organisation.
