An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Low Code Developer to join our Low Code Development team at Hampshire County Council.

The Role:
Working as part of the Information Development Team; the responsibilities for this role include low-code application development and 3rd level support. You will be required to develop and support low-code applications and to assist with the administration and maintenance of the Microsoft Power Platform.
You will also work as part of the wider Applications and Development team, to support services and deliver technical resource to facilitate the initiatives and business of the broader County Council and its Partners.
What you’ll do:
Designing, Building and Implementing New Applications:
* Develop low-code applications using Power Platform
* Support and maintain existing applications built in low-code
* Providing input into the technical design to ensure production of applications that deliver the needs of the business
* Delivering aspects of a project’s technical requirements – analysis, design, estimating, testing and implementation
* Creation of support and management documentation and handover to colleagues
Supporting and Maintaining Corporate Platforms:
* Assist with the administration and maintenance of corporate platforms (MS Power Platform)
* Manage and implement platform service requests
* Initiate and implement improvements to platforms
3rd Level Support of all Existing Services:
* Fault diagnosis and resolution on incidents
* 3rd party Supplier and Customer Liaison
* Coordinate staff from multiple IT disciplines where necessary to resolve incidents
* Documenting faults and recommending improvements
Service Management:
* Assist in service development, evaluation and implementation within an ITIL framework and corporate policy
* Informing service managers on possible service developments and improvements
What we’re looking for:
* Experience of working within a formal IT environment
* IT application support experience 1st, 2nd, or 3rd level within an enterprise-scale environment
* Effective communication skills at all levels and presentation/briefing of others
* Self-motivated and committed to on-going personal development
* Able to establish effective working relationships with people at all levels
* An ability to quickly absorb information and understand new technologies/solutions
* Workplace experience of working as part of a project team, delivering solutions on time and within budget
