Role Description
Are you a natural salesperson who thrives on building strong customer relationships and closing deals? Do you know your way around the building materials industry and have a solid customer base in the local area?
We’re looking for a confident, results-driven Sales Executive to join our growing team in Kings Langley. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking company that’s committed to customer service, innovation, and growth.
In this fast-paced role, you’ll be the go-to contact for both trade and retail customers—handling enquiries by phone, email and in person, providing quotes, and taking orders. You’ll also play a key part in driving branch sales by actively promoting our products and services and seeking new business opportunities in the area.
Responsibilities:
* Responding to customer enquiries and processing orders
* Preparing accurate and competitive quotes
* Building strong relationships with existing clients and developing new business
* Promoting Lords products and services across the local market
* Working as part of a supportive and energetic branch team

Competitive Salary Offered
Hours: 7am-5pm Mon-Fri, 7am-12pm alternate Saturdays
Holiday: 21 days per year plus Bank Holidays
Benefits: Discretionary bonus scheme
Requirements
* At least 2 years’ sales experience in the building materials or builders merchants sector
* A well-established local customer base
* Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
* A team mindset with a proactive and positive approach
* Comfortable using email, order systems, and basic IT tools
* Right to work in the UK
