HR Manager - Part-Time
On-Site (Chelmsford/Colchester corridor)
2–3 days per week (flexible)
Salary - £50,000pa FTE
We are partnering with a dynamic SME that's looking for a commercially astute, Level 7 CIPD-qualified HR professional to join them on a part-time basis. This is a strategic role supporting both leadership and wider teams—ideal for someone who blends legal rigour with cultural sensitivity and thrives in fast-paced, ideas-led environments.
Key Focus Areas
* Advising on employee relations matters (performance, conduct, grievances, conflict resolution)
* Coaching managers on HR best practice across the employee lifecycle
* Reviewing and refining policies to ensure compliance and cultural alignment
* Partnering on organisational design, talent planning, and change initiatives
* Overseeing contracts, onboarding, and documentation
* Championing DEI initiatives in line with company values
* Providing strategic input on engagement, retention, and culture
What You'll Bring
* Level 7 CIPD qualification and strong ER experience in creative, consultancy, or SME settings
* Confidence navigating complex people matters with discretion and emotional intelligence
* A proactive, solutions-focused mindset—comfortable working independently and collaboratively
* Experience with hybrid working models and contractor frameworks is a plus
