The Role:
As a Senior Developer, you will:
* Lead the development and maintenance of key web products, including high visibility public dashboards and interactive platforms.
* Manage the full life cycle of software and web development, from conceptualisation to deployment, ensuring solutions are robust, scalable, and user friendly.
* Own the development and optimisation of their organisation's website, ensuring it is a seamless hub for engagement with partners, stakeholders, and the public.
* Oversee cloud computing, data flows, and web infrastructure using Microsoft Azure, ensuring best practice security, efficiency, and reliability.
* Engage with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring solutions align with strategic priorities and user needs.
* Champion agile methodologies and industry best practices, ensuring their technical solutions remain future proof and effective.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Strong technical expertise in web development, including experience with JavaScript, Python, PHP, and frameworks for building interactive and data driven web applications.
* Experience with data visualisation and the development of dashboards, GIS models, or analytics platforms.
* Proven ability to manage and optimise websites, including familiarity with Azure cloud services and hosting environments.
* Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non technical stakeholders.
* A collaborative, solutions oriented mindset with experience working in agile development environments.
* Strong project management skills, ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of web solutions.
