Job Title: Sales Representative - Construction Fixings & Support Systems

About the Company
Our client is a specialist supplier of fixings and mechanical and electrical support systems for the construction industry. With over 10 years experience operating in the UK and originally established in Ireland, the business has built a strong reputation for quality and reliability.
As part of an ambitious growth strategy, they are now looking to expand their sales team with the addition of a driven and commercially minded Sales Representative.
The Role
This is a balanced sales position combining both new business development and account management (approximately 50/50 split). The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying new opportunities while also maintaining and developing existing client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and secure new business opportunities within the construction sectorManage and grow a portfolio of existing customer accountsBuild strong relationships with contractors, M&E subcontractors, and project stakeholdersPromote a range of fixing solutions and mechanical & electrical support systemsProvide technical guidance and product recommendations to clientsTrack and manage sales pipeline to meet and exceed targetsCollaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service and project deliveryStay up to date with market trends, competitors, and industry developments
Candidate Requirements
Proven experience in a sales role within the construction industryStrong knowledge of fixings and/or support systems used in construction projects (essential)Demonstrated ability to win new business and manage key accountsExcellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skillsSelf-motivated with a proactive and results-driven approachAbility to manage a territory and work independentlyFull UK driving licence
