Heritage Lifecare has a rewarding opportunity available for a Cook to join our team at Princes Court Lifecare in Ashburton.

Princes Court Lifecare is a 35 bed, Dementia level facility situated in Ashburton. Our team comes from all around the world and is open and welcoming to people from diverse backgrounds and cultures, all connected in our Heritage community by our passion for caring and empathy.

About Our Role:

* Location: Princes Court Lifecare in Ashburton
* Job Type: Casual (as and when required)
* Shifts: AMs, PMs, and weekends

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Cook with a passion for working in a culinary environment, to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents. You will have a positive can-do attitude and believe that good food is important to well-being.

As a Cook at Princes Court Lifecare, you will be responsible for providing hearty nutritious meals for our residents while ensuring individual food requirements are met. Reliability and eagerness to assist are essential, including working AM, PM, and weekend shifts as needed.

Your Skills and Experience:

* Proven experience in catering and food service, ideally in a commercial kitchen (on-the-job training will be provided).
* A culinary qualification or equivalent experience.
* A passion for creating good food and providing an exceptional dining experience.
* Good communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
* A genuine love for helping people, with excellent customer service skills and a friendly, positive attitude.
* Experience delivering to a quality standard.
