Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our culinary team as a Breakfast cook. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, focusing on food preparation, cooking, and maintaining high standards of food safety. The ideal candidate will have a background in culinary arts or restaurant experience and a keen interest in delivering exceptional meals to our customers.
Duties
* Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.
* Assist in meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and properly stored.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during service hours.
* Serve meals with attention to presentation and customer satisfaction.
* Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management as needed.
* Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food safety practices.
Requirements
* Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is preferred, with a strong understanding of food preparation techniques.
* Culinary experience or relevant qualifications in food preparation or cooking are advantageous.
* Knowledge of food safety standards and practices is essential.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
* Strong teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
