Key Responsibilities
As an HR Officer, you will support all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including:
* Delivering efficient, consistent HR services across the contract, working with line managers and the HR team
* Advising managers on employee relations, absence, capability, disciplinary, and grievance issues, ensuring legal and policy compliance
* Managing recruitment processes from advertising to onboarding and induction
* Supporting learning, development, talent management, and succession planning initiatives
* Maintaining HR records and generating reports for workforce planning
* Contributing to change management and organisational development projects
* Promoting employee engagement and wellbeing through communication and HR initiatives
* Applying HR policies consistently across teams
To Succeed In This Role, You Should Have
A CIPD Level 3 qualification (or equivalent experience), ideally working towards Level 5.
Previous experience in a generalist HR role, including recruitment, employee relations, and policy implementation.
Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships at all levels.
A proactive problem-solving approach and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), with data analysis and presentation skills.
