Our core business activities are teaching and learning, widening access to education, research and innovation and technology and knowledge transfer. - THE ROLE - The North West Centre for Advanced Manufacturing 2 (NWCAM2) project, which is supported by PEACEPLUS, a programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB). The project is led by Catalyst, in partnership with Atlantic Technology University (ATU), North West Regional College, Ulster University, Trinity College Dublin and Irish Manufacturing Research Centre. NWCAM2 is a cross-border innovation initiative seeking to help 30 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the health and life sciences sector to embed and accelerate sustainable manufacturing in their businesses. As a key member of the NWCAM2 team, the role holder will provide a comprehensive and professional administrative support service to the NWCAM2 principal investigator and wider team. NWCAM2 is funded by the European Union through the PEACEPLUS Programme. We may create a 12-month waiting list for same or similar roles within the Department/Faculty. The University reserves the right to extend the waiting list across the University if required for certain posts. - ABOUT YOU - The postholder will be required to have: - A good standard of numeracy and literacy, either by qualification or work-related activities. - Working knowledge of a complex financial operating system within an organisation, with experience of monitoring grants or budgets. - Experience of organising events and making travel and related arrangements, and of servicing meetings in a business/work environment, including taking notes and making a personal contribution to the work/actions arising from committees/meetings.
