An opportunity has arisen for a Site Manager to join a regional contractor working on several new build and refurbishment projects in the residential, healthcare, commercial and education sectors across the Oxfordshire region, on a full time, permanent basis. In this role as a Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing projects typically valued between £300k to £5M. Site Manager Criteria: Must have hands-on experience in delivering complex projects, often listed, under pressure and on time. You should have experience working with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure the project's success throughout. You'll need to be an excellent communicator and confident in managing site teams and subcontractors. You should also be able to plan projects in detail, keeping things on track and meeting deadlines without compromising on quality or safety. Construction-related degree (desirable). A trade background will be considered. Full UK Driving License Site Manager Duties: Manage the site and ensure adherence to all policies, procedures and standards using specified drawings and instructions, within budget and on programme. Ensure that all work is kept on programme and that all details as specified in the drawings and instructions are adhered to. Monitor and drive quality, safety and environmental systems and promote a safety culture in full support of our excellent delivery values and ethos. Ensure full compliance with health and safety, quality and environmental legislation as well as compliant with the policies and procedures. Monitor the roles and responsibilities matrix for the project. Promote, encourage and manage effective teamwork and a good team environment. Coach and motivate the site teams and lead by example.
