Role Description
This is a full‑time on‑site role for a Sales Executive located in the Nottingham area. The Sales Executive will be responsible for identifying and generating new business opportunities, developing and maintaining client relationships, and meeting sales targets. Day‑to‑day tasks include prospecting, lead qualification, preparing and delivering tailored quotations based on customers’ needs and job assessments, following up on outstanding quotes via phone and email to convert prospects into confirmed bookings, and providing excellent customer service to ensure client satisfaction and retention. Act as the main point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring their needs are understood and met. Work closely with Operations and Logistics to ensure service delivery aligns with client expectations. Monitor and respond to incoming phone calls and emails in shared and personal inboxes.
Qualifications
 * Strong communication and interpersonal skills
 * Proven track record in sales and achieving targets
 * Experience with lead generation and prospecting
 * Customer service skills to build and maintain client relationships
 * Basic knowledge of sustainability and eco‑conscious practices is a plus
 * Confident in making outbound calls, following up leads and closing sales
 * Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise
 * Basic understanding of pricing, quoting and negotiating with clients
 * Comfortable using email, CRM systems and Microsoft Office
 * Waste Industry knowledge, desirable but not compulsory
 * Self‑motivated and goal‑oriented
 * Relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
