Online learning has grown significantly within the Trust, and we are committed to further developing our Technology Enhanced Learning portfolio. Reporting to the Technology Enhanced Learning Lead, you will design and develop innovative online learning solutions, using multimedia technologies with a focus on video and graphic production. You’ll work closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to shape their ideas into high-quality digital learning content, while also supporting the Education Department’s website and YouTube channel. We are looking for someone with creativity, strong design skills and a passion for digital media. You should be able to communicate well at all levels, support staff in creating digital content, and manage multiple projects from filming instructional videos to designing learning modules while assisting colleagues with technical issues. Advert To be the principle photographer and videographer for the Education Service. Work closely with the TEL Lead to develop operational plans to deliver a technological solution for education delivery to support the implementation of the Education Plan. To be responsible for developing, designing and critically evaluating a range of options for delivery of online education materials taking into account national, regional and Trust requirements using existing and emerging design technologies, compatible with existing IT systems. Contribute to the design, development and on-going maintenance of the Education Service website Ensure that all new deployments, repairs and fixes are fully tested for functionality, in different browsers and at different resolution within the LMS test environment before release, working closely with IT our LMS team. To innovate and develop efficient and effective ways to use new technologies in learning. Work closely with subject matter experts in the design and production of robust and attractive online educational materials, responsible for ensuring guidelines are followed on the standards including consistency of format, style and accessibility across the organisation. Detailed job description and main responsibilities Working within the Education Service, the post holder will support and contribute to the development of learning technologies across all professional groups as part of the TEL Team. This includes working with subject matter experts and stakeholders to design and produce digital learning content such as educational videos, audio, graphics, and eLearning courses. These resources will be hosted on our internal LMS, YouTube, and WordPress platforms. The post holder will also take responsibility for managing and updating our website and intranet pages, ensuring they remain current and aligned with developments within the service. They will support communication activities, including producing posters and leaflets and promoting our work through various social media channels. They will oversee the safe use, care, and inventory of photography and film equipment, including cameras, microphones, and other digital tools that can be booked by Trust staff. The role involves providing guidance and support to end users and building strong working relationships with Education colleagues and staff across the Trust. A strong creative flair is essential. The successful candidate will be expected to stay up to date with emerging technologies and design trends to ensure our learning resources remain modern and at the forefront of learning design within the NHS. Working with colleagues across the Trust, the post holder will support the effective implementation and use of technology enhanced learning resources. They will use a range of software tools to design and create digital multimedia products that support online learning. These learning solutions will help improve patient care and ensure the Trust meets all statutory, mandatory, and regulatory training requirements. The post holder will provide high-quality technical advice and support to ensure that blended learning solutions meet the needs of the organisation and support the effective delivery of the Education Plan. They will also develop and maintain the Education Service website and promote our services and events online through the website, our YouTube channel, and social media platforms.
