Working on behalf of our client based on a site in Barry. We are currently recruiting for a Site Manager for a long-term fire remediation project.
Scope of Works
The project includes fire safety remediation works such as compartmentation, fire stopping, cladding remediation, and associated upgrades within occupied and non-occupied buildings.
Key Duties
* Managing day-to-day site operations and fire remediation works
* Supervising site teams and coordinating subcontractors
* Overseeing fire stopping, compartmentation, cladding remediation, and upgrade works
* Ensuring health & safety standards are met at all times
* Coordinating with Contracts Managers, SHEQ teams, and clients
* Maintaining project timelines and quality standards
* Producing site reports, progress updates, and RAMS
* Leading toolbox talks and ensuring compliance with current fire safety regulations
What We Are Looking For in the Successful Candidate
* Proven experience as a Site Manager delivering fire remediation or fire safety works
* NVQ Level 6 (or higher) in Construction / Site Management
* Valid SMSTS
* CSCS Black (Manager) Card
* Fire Marshal / Fire Warden Certification
* First Aid at Work
* Industry-recognised trade background (e.g. carpentry, drylining, brickwork, fire stopping)
* Strong leadership and organisational skills
* Full UK driving licence
* Ability to manage trades, maintain site standards, and ensure safe working practices
Desirable Experience
* Experience working on high-rise or occupied buildings
* Strong knowledge of current fire safety regulations and remediation standards
* Confident client-facing communication skills
What Our Client can Offer
* £300 per day
* 3 year project
* Working hours: Monday Friday, 7:30am 4:30pm
