Overview:
Evolve HES is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Manager to oversee the delivery of energy efficiency retrofit works on residential properties across the Newport and Bristol regions. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in managing retrofit installations, particularly in measures such as External Wall Insulation (EWI), roofing, and structural repair works, ensuring full compliance with PAS 2030 standards and all health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
· Take day-to-day responsibility for the management and coordination of site activities across assigned retrofit schemes.
· Supervise and monitor the work of subcontractors to ensure works are delivered on time, to the required quality standards, and in accordance with specifications and PAS 2030 guidelines.
· Conduct regular site inspections to ensure health, safety, and environmental standards are met.
· Liaise with project managers, clients, suppliers, and tenants to ensure smooth site operations and customer satisfaction.
· Maintain accurate records of site progress, issues, and variations.
· Manage deliveries, site logistics, and storage of materials.
· Coordinate toolbox talks, risk assessments, and method statements as required.
· Ensure effective site induction and safety briefings for all operatives and visitors.
· Identify and resolve on-site issues promptly to minimise delays.
· Report progress and escalate any potential risks or delays to the Project Manager.
Essential Requirements:
·Proven experience in managing site operations within energy retrofit projects.
·Sound knowledge of energy efficiency measures, particularly External Wall Insulation (EWI)
·Strong understanding of PAS 2030 requirements and compliance.
·SMSTS qualification.
·First Aid at Work certification.
·Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel between sites.
·Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Experience in working with local authorities or social housing providers (preferred).
