JOB TITLE : Partnership Sales Executive

THE ROLE
Rangers Football Club are delighted to be seeking an additional Partnership Sales Executive to join our commercial partnerships team.
Rangers recently reported record breaking commercial revenue and we are looking for the right candidate to continue and accelerate our pace of growth.
Partnerships acquisition is at the heart of this role and you will be required to deliver and structure commercial partnerships in a way that meets the club’s revenue ambitions.
This is a target driven role which will require a proactive approach towards creating and delivering partnerships.
To achieve excellence in this role, you will be supported by a partnership management team and in-house teams such as marketing, content and insight.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Actively contact businesses, brands and individuals to sell a range of sponsorship and partnership packages as identified by the commercial team.
* Conduct detailed research and actively identify brands to contact.
* Manage diary effectively to contact brands and arrange meetings to sell a range of partnership packages.
* Arrange face to face meetings and present to brands using a variety of different presentation formats.
* Assist in producing engaging sales decks to meet a brand’s specific objectives.
* Responsible for ownership of individual sales pipeline and ensuring all leads are actioned and up to date.
* Responsible for meeting sales targets identified and set by the Head of Commercial Partnerships
* Actively consider new approaches to sponsorship and partnerships and new inventory to maximise sales.
* Prepare, maintain and present regular sales updates.
* Any other duties and responsibilities considered appropriate by the senior commercial team.
THE CANDIDATE
* Confident individual with a background in a fast-paced sales environment.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to make outbound approaches.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to build relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
* A background in the sports industry is desirable but not essential.
* A passion for sales and achieving targets.
* Excellent organisational and account management skills.
* The ability and flexibility to work Rangers’ home matches is a key component to this role.
