Overview
Site Manager / Site Supervisor – Sunderland. Salary to cGBP70k plus benefits. Our client specialises in the provision of bespoke automation and materials handling solutions to major UK brands. They are expanding and seeking an articulate, dynamic and experienced Site Manager / Site Supervisor to join the project team and manage the implementation of automated equipment in the network for a major retailer within the UK.
The successful candidate will have qualifications, knowledge and experience related to CDM site management, particularly the Principal Contractor role. A proven background in materials handling systems or automation projects, strong management skills, and the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a cross-functional team are essential. Exceptional communication skills at all levels are required for a customer-facing environment.
Responsibilities
* Manage the installation of automated systems into live operational and Greenfield sites.
* Coordinate and communicate with suppliers and the customer.
* Manage contractors to support the installation and delivery of projects.
* Possibly manage small projects independently.
Qualifications
* CDM experience with site management; ideally with Principal Contractor responsibilities.
* SMSTS qualification (minimum).
* Current driving licence and flexibility to travel throughout the UK.
* Experience in site management of materials handling installations or automation projects.
