Overview
We are seeking to appoint a Food Technology & General Technician at The Royal Liberty School, Romford, Essex. The work will involve preparing materials and assisting in practical lessons, maintaining a safe and clean working environment, ordering produce, preparing displays and assisting the classroom teacher.
Responsibilities
* Prepare materials and assist in practical lessons
* Maintain a safe and clean working environment
* Order produce and assist with displays
* Work with key personnel in school; adaptable, creative and flexible; ability to work with minimum supervision and excellent organisational skills
* Collaborate within a structured INSET programme
Qualifications & Requirements
* Good practical skills; ideally some experience in hospitality and catering
* Willingness to undertake first aid and food hygiene training
Contract & Benefits
* Permanent contract; Term Time
* Hours: 35 hours per week, 38 weeks per year (PART-TIME would be considered for the right candidate)
* Grade: Scale 3, Points 5-6
