Job Description:
Our Cutting-Edge Systems & Sensors (CS3) Line of Business is seeking a passionate and experienced Quality Manager to join our team in Edinburgh.
This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of mission-critical technologies, working on impactful projects while building a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Salary: £65,000 – £80,000 per year.
Your Impact
* Lead quality initiatives within an Integrated Project Team (IPT), fostering a culture of improvement, safety, and collaboration.
* Align quality strategies with broader business objectives by partnering with CS3 and site Quality leadership.
* Identify and manage quality risks, threats, and opportunities across multiple programmes.
* Develop and maintain tailored Quality Assurance Plans (QAPs) based on risk and improvement priorities.
* Design and deliver an annual audit plan informed by risk, compliance, and improvement goals.
* Track key metrics, analyse trends, and deliver data-driven insights to drive measurable improvements.
What you’ll bring:
* Recognised experience in Quality, Operations, or Engineering, with a strong understanding of business processes.
* Leadership and people management skills, including change management and mentoring experience.
* Knowledge of AS9100 and ISO9001 standards and quality assurance frameworks.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across teams.
* Proven ability to lead continuous improvement and reduce costs of non-quality through data-informed decisions.
* Effective organisational and time management skills with the ability to balance competing priorities.
* Ability to adapt leadership and communication styles to diverse audiences, including technical and non-technical stakeholders.
