Senior Site Manager – Refurbishment

Role Overview We are looking for a talented Site Manager to join our team in the Midlands, working full‑time on active development and refurbishment sites. The project pipeline includes office refurbishments and office‑to‑accommodation transformations, with particular value placed on experience with external cladding remediations.
Responsibilities As the Senior Site Manager you will:
* Develop detailed project plans outlining timelines, budgets and resource allocation to ensure successful delivery.
* Lead and coordinate a multidisciplinary team of construction professionals, subcontractors and suppliers through all stages of the build.
* Manage subcontractor packages, oversee health and safety on site, and ensure design information is managed effectively from RIBA Stage 3 to completion at Stage 6.
* Maintain the highest levels of quality and compliance, ensuring all works meet industry regulations and internal standards.
* Own cost control, monitor budgets, identify efficiencies and manage risks to keep each project on schedule and within financial targets.
* Communicate regularly with stakeholders, providing clear updates, addressing concerns and ensuring alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
* Oversee procurement activity, negotiate and manage contracts, ensure regulatory compliance and report directly to the Construction Director.
Requirements
* SMSTS or equivalent safety certification.
* Proven experience as a Construction Site Manager, particularly within residential high‑rise projects.
* Strong technical knowledge and familiarity with construction management software.
* Excellent problem‑solving skills, sound decision‑making abilities and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to lead teams confidently and maintain strong working relationships across the project.
