Overview
We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee the construction of traditional new build housing developments, delivering high-quality homes in line with NHBC standards. You will take full responsibility for site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to specification.
Responsibilities
* Manage day-to-day site operations on new build housing projects
* Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with NHBC standards and building regulations
* Coordinate and manage subcontractors and direct labour
* Maintain high standards of health, safety, and site housekeeping
* Monitor programme schedules and manage workloads to meet deadlines
* Ensure quality control at all stages of the build process
* Liaise with clients, suppliers, building control, and NHBC inspectors
* Complete site records, reports, and inspections as required
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Site Manager on traditional new build housing projects
* Strong knowledge of NHBC standards and current building regulations
* SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certificates
* Excellent organisational and leadership skills
* Ability to manage multiple trades and maintain build programmes
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
