Global HR Manager – 6 Month FTC – Stand Alone
Are you a seasoned HR professional with a passion for building HR functions from scratch in fast-paced, international startup environments? We’re looking for a Global HR Manager to join our ambitious, scaling startup and lay the foundation for our people operations across six European countries.
Requirements
1. Own the creation of compliant and user-friendly HR policies and procedures (e.g. Employee handbook, Referencing/Background screening, Employee Lifecycle policies)
2. Lead the development, and implementation of HR processes across the employee lifecycle
3. Support the setup of outsourced payroll provider in multiple countries
4. Support the setup of key benefits in multiple countries
5. Take ownership of processes including payroll, benefits management, vendor relationships etc.
6. Finalise employee contract templates
7. Support the roll out of Workday for EMEA
8. Partner with internal teams across Ops, Finance, Recruitment, IT, Marketing to establish key employee experience initiatives
9. Contribute to strategic people initiatives translating ideas into practical delivery plans.
10. Day-to-day HR related matters (contracts, visas, onboarding etc)
Background
11. HR Operations experience gained in an international organisation.
12. Strong knowledge of payroll, benefits, and employment law.
13. Adaptable self-starter with the ability to work in a fast moving start-up environment.
14. A proactive, adaptable, and solutions-oriented mindset.
15. Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
