Position: Catering Manager
Locations: Working in our services across Leeds, Scarborough, and Brighouse
Type: Permanent, full-time (37.5 hpw), Monday - Friday
Salary: £30,600 per annum and great benefits including Health Cash Plan
About the Role
As Catering Manager, you will oversee food and drink delivery across our extra care services. You will ensure our in-house teams and café leaseholders perform excellently, maintaining safety, management, and budget adherence.
You will manage several cafés, ensuring they are lively, welcoming, and integrated into the community. Responsibilities include menu planning, food safety, supplier collaboration, and ensuring smooth operations.
Typical Daily Responsibilities
* Managing stock issues with the team to plan menus that meet dietary needs.
* Conducting kitchen walkthroughs to ensure cleanliness, compliance, and smooth operation.
* Review budgets, identify savings, and ensure quality food delivery within budget.
* Handling café contract wrap-ups efficiently.
* Leading team check-ins to maintain high morale and service quality.
Candidate Requirements
* Experience managing catering operations or kitchen teams.
* Understanding of catering budgets, stock control, and supplier relationships.
* Experience creating menus for various dietary needs.
* Must have insured vehicle for work purposes; mileage paid.

Team and Reporting
You will report to Gemma, our Operations Manager, and collaborate with her team of service managers to optimize café operations across supported settings. We are passionate about our work and proud of our service portfolio, aiming to elevate it further.
